We had Richard’s reptile show for my son’s seventh birthday party and it was fantastic.  Richard had all 22 children absolutely spellbound.  All of them were mesmerised as he introduced them to his world of creepy crawly animals.  Richard is obviously passionate about his animals and his enthusiasm rubbed off on the children, making it an amazing experience for all.  I can definitely recommend him!

I had the roadshow for my daughters 7th birthday party. We had 15 children and Richard handled them all so well. He managed to keep them all totally interested in the party and did an amazing job of slowly encouraging the children who were a bit apprehensive at first, by the end of the party all children were handling the reptiles. Richard certainly knows his reptiles and knows a lot about them and the children loved hearing all the facts about them too. I would definitely recommend this party for girls and boys it was fab, its debatable who enjoyed it more the adults or the children…..
Thank you Richard

Many, many thanks for a wonderful reptile party for Harry. He so enjoyed himself and only this morning was telling me facts he had learn t about the scorpion!
I was nervous about having 20, 8 year old boys and whether they could stay focused and still for 90 minutes but you handled them really well and kept their interests going
all the time. The selection of animals was perfect and letting each child have a turn was the most fun for them I think.

I have had lots of comments from Mums saying how much their boys had enjoyed the party.
From first conversation right through to the actual day the communication was excellent.

The Reptile Roadshow came in to work with our Year 1 class and it was absolutely brilliant!! Richard had a great manner with the children and was very patient with all 30 of them. They were engaged and excited by all the Reptiles and most were willing to hold or touch them (even the more reserved children). Have recommended to others in the school as the children were still buzzing about it the next day! We had some fantastic literacy work after and our photos are great.

Thank you!

On behalf of all of the staff and children involved in today’s Reptile Roadshow visit, I should like to send a huge thank you to you both for the wonderful experience we had in school today.
Richard, you did such a fantastic job engaging the children throughout each session. It was intriguing observing the children’s reactions and watching them participate in the roadshow: handling the animals, asking thoughtful questions and many of them finding the courage and confidence to join in with creatures that they had thought themselves afraid to touch!
The children were buzzing with excitement afterwards and we know that your visit will have inspired the children to discover more about reptiles as we launch into our new school project this term. They have all drawn fabulous reptiles this afternoon and printed patterns over the bodies! Tomorrow they are going to write about their experience with you your reptiles ….and I know they won’t be short on ideas!
Sincere thanks again. We hope that your journey home was not too troublesome and we look forward to inviting you to Felsted Preparatory School again sometime in the near future.
Kind regards,

Aaron had a wonderful time and all the mothers have been sending me messages telling me that their children could not stop talking about the party!!!
It was such a fun (and educational) afternoon and I know my children went to sleep last night with big smiles on their faces.
Thank you for an absolutely fantastic party!!

The session filled the hour and a half, with the children completely gripped and interested throughout.
Richard talked knowledgeably and informatively about each animal, and the children (and adults) were all able to engage with each of the animals.
There were times where the children were given animals to look after for a period, there were other times when they got to stroke other animals.
It was just a great evening…Thank you Reptile Roadshow!!!

My little girl said it was the best day ever and many of her friends mum’s also messaged to say what a brilliant party it was for the children and adults and they thoroughly enjoyed it, some said it was the best children’s party they had been to! I was slightly apprehensive that the children may start to get fidgety but Richard did an amazing job of captivating their attention the whole time and whilst doing this they were also learning some brilliant facts about the reptiles, I needn’t of worried as not once did a child get up and wander off as they were all so excited for the next bit! Thank you so much again for doing such an excellent party I cannot recommend you enough!

Just a note to say a big “THANKS” for your visit to our class yesterday. The children really enjoyed it and learnt lots ! It has really kick started our Topic ” Why don’t snakes have legs?” and I know this “memorable experience” will help us with our learning this term.

I felt the session was pitched appropriately and you responded to the children well.

I will definitely recommend the “Reptile Roadshow”.

I just wanted to send a quick note to thank you for the fabulous party you put on for my daughter Nina’s 6th birthday last weekend (28th January). Everyone absolutely loved it and by everyone I mean parents as well as children. I’ve had so many positive comments since and it was fantastic to watch even the children who’d arrived quite apprehensive about the animals actually getting involved after just a short time. Any concerns I might have previously had about the children staying interested for the duration were completely unfounded as Richard kept them all engaged (and well-behaved!) the whole time. We all enjoyed it so much – the birthday girl especially. So many thanks indeed and if you want to use my comments as a review, or ever need a recommendation, please just ask.

Thanks again and all the best,
